THE WORLD’S LARGEST CLIMATE ACTION

Gain knowledge and earn a certificate from Climathon, the world’s largest collective climate action, bringing together activists and experts in over 200 cities and 65 countries across all continents.

Through online training and team workshops (held once every 1–2 months, lasting for 2–3 hours), you will help the environment, get the chance to join the team developing the WasteMatch app for reducing waste and increasing recycling, and network with international activists.

The accelerator is held ONLINE, FREE, and open to individuals and teams
— regardless of knowledge level.

Training topics include:

  • Developing CleanTech / Applications for climate and environmental challenges
  • Gamification: motivating people to change
  • EcoColabo / Collaboration: building collective activism
  • Motivation: how to build internal motivation, storytellingSustainable development, and more

Process/requirements of accelerator partipants:

  1. you will participate  the online zoom accelerator - organized each 20-60 days, lasting for 2–3 hours each;
  2. You will independetly continue worknig with your team on solving the challenges given at each online session of the accelerator;
  3. WasteMatch team is looking forward to train you and co-design with you. We will consider how to acknowledge any substantial contributions by the participants. You should understand that as part of the accelerator training you will get insider info on WasteMatch App and co-design its features. By that, you accept not to use or share this info to WasteMatch’s detriment. You give rights to the WasteMatch team to freely use the outputs created through the training process.
